Valdosta State College Woman's Club
Scope and Contents
Valdosta State College Woman's Club was founded in 1967. The stated purpose of the club was: to foster social life amongst its members, to promote the welfare of the student body, and to further the interests of the college in every way possible." The collection spans from 1970-1982 and contains yearly Calendars , membership lists, a "yearbook", and a Cookbook. One of the events that the Woman's Club hosted was an annual Founder's Day Dinner held at the beginning of February to celebrate the founding of the school, and the collection houses programs from 1972, 1973 1979, & 1980.
