Scope and Contents
American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a nationwide network of more than 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 branches, and 800 college/university institution partners.Through community leadership and collaboration, AAUW hopes to improve equity, access, and opportunity for women and girls. This collection is specific to the Valdosta Branch of the AAUW and contains material from 2003-2010. These include: correspondence, Lowndes County Political Forum materials (2008), handbooks, newspaper articles, and internal documents. Also included are issues of Outlook AAUW's official magazine.
