Scope and Contents

American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a nationwide network of more than 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 branches, and 800 college/university institution partners.Through com­mu­nity lead­er­ship and col­lab­o­ra­tion, AAUW hopes to improve equity, access, and oppor­tu­nity for women and girls. This collection is specific to the Valdosta Branch of the AAUW and contains material from 2003-2010. These include: correspondence, Lowndes County Political Forum materials (2008), handbooks, newspaper articles, and internal documents. Also included are issues of Outlook AAUW's official magazine.
