Scope and Contents

The Office of Admissions solicits students to apply to and attend the college/university. To that end, it produces glossy display brochures, pamphlets, and correspondence. Early pictures of GSWC presented in a foldout postcard format are included here. Admissions' newsletter, the Blazer Beat, documents activities planned for parents on visitation days. Admissions also hosts Insight/Orientation--a weekend long-visit and information fair for incoming freshmen and parents. Promotional material, schedules, advising information, social events planning are included in the Insight and Orientation folders.

Accruals and Additions

Donor indicated that he would send Admissions Image Cd's annually, and has done so.  Collection records indicate other items in "Admissions," but no prior paperwork.  There is a folder in the Director's office with finding aid, provessing notes, and accession record 1999-009, filed unded Admissions
