Louis Levy was Interim President at Valdosta State University. His term began July 1, 2011 following President Schloss's announement that he would be stepping down as President. He was succeeded by President William McKinney July 1, 2012. He was a member of Valdosta State faculty since 1989, and held several different offices since then including: Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Head of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice. However, this collection deals with his time as Interim President and contains papers about existing building projects. These are Bailey Science Center Addition, Helath Sciences and Business Administration Center, Brookwood Hall, University Center, and the renovation of Ashley Hall. Also included are Spring Commencement 2008 Photo Album, and some newspaper articles fron 2011.
