King's Bay
Valdosta State University has maintained a close relationship with King's Bay Naval Submarine Base since it began providing academic services to its members and their families in 1983. This collection contains the exchanges between King's Bay and Valdosta State.

Lawson Belville Jones Collection
Memories of Lawson Belville Jones. Jones was born in Valdosta Georgia in 1904. He attended the training school at South Georgia State Normal School starting in 1913.
Leigh Birdsong Collection
Contains a uniform shirt form VSC "Rebels" baseball team in the early 1960s. Records show that at some point, the item belonged to George Birdsong before being donated by his wife Leigh Birdsong
Lena Hawks Instructional Reports
Lena Hawks was Dean of Instruction for Georgia State Woman's College in the late 1930s-1940s. This is a collection of statistical data compiled by her in that time period concerning the students of GSWC. Topics include: Enrollment and Testing, Grade Distributions for Elective Courses, Instructional Reports, Misc., Sophomore Comprehensive Exams, Stagger System, Study of Grades and Scores on State Tests, Survey Courses, Testing Programs, 1938-1939.

Library Administration
This collection contains administrative records for Valdosta State's Odum Library from the 1970s-1980s. Most of it relates to the Academic Committee on Libraries, Academic Council, and the American Library Association. The majority of the information is memos and meeting minutes.
Library Affairs Committee
This Collection contains the records of the Library Affairs Committee from the late 1970s early 1980s. The first box holds meeting minutes, and memos dealing with financial affairs of the library. The second box deals with the Library Affairs Subcommittee Research/Impact Funds.
Library Annual Reports and Self Studies
Annual Report of the Library/Self-Study for Valdosta State University Library 1925-1970, and for Odum Library 1989-2007, 2011.
Library AV Materials
Contains introductory multi-media materials for Odum Library. Involving a Odum Library Orientation film "Where's Howard?", and a Tour of the VSC Library slide show. Circa 1979. Also included unmarked cassette tapes possibly blank.
Library Building
Contains the history of Valdosta State's Library including pictures and papers about Powell Hall which served as library for the school until Odum Library was built. It contains papers from the library built in the 70's including floor plans and correspondence concerning the interior alterations and problems. Project manuals, correspondence and plans for the Odum Library Addition are also included as well.
Library Dedications
Contains Dedication pamphlets from the Libraries of Valdosta State. In 1941 Powell Library was dedicated. Powell was in use until 1972 when a new library was completed that would eventually be named Odum Library. In 2004 Odum dedicated a new addition that doubled the size of the library.

This collection contains items relating to Odum Library Events and Receptions mostly banners, though there is some correspondence planning events.
