Photographs created and accumulated by photographer Paul Leavy, including newspaper, commercial, community, school athletics, military, and Valdosta State University assignments. The collection consists primarily of digital photographs stored on optical media, together with photographic prints, slides, transparencies, and negatives.

Scope and Contents Before University Relations existed, Valdosta State College had the Public Relations Department. Most of the collection contains general correspondence from 1954-1990 though there are some papers on eclectic subjects such as Planetarium Programs (1988-1993), Press Releases (1964-1989), and Commencement (1961-1990). Scope and Contents University Relations is one of Archives largest growing collections. The department replaced Valdosta State College's Public Relations, when Valdosta was granted University status. Because of this a lot of, items fall into the catergory of University Relations. The collection contains: Slides, pictures, & negatives from college history and events 1960-2003.
