Abstract
The Katherine C. Swidinski Scrapbook Collection predominately features photographs from South Georgia State Normal College in Valdosta, Georgia, circa 1919-1920. The photographs were collected in two black scrapbooks created by Daisy Mae Culpepper, a 7th-grade student at the South Georgia State Normal College training school during the 1919-1920 school year. Arrangement Note
2 photograph scrapbooks [sb1, sb2] w. 79 photographs from c.1919-1922. 2 miscellaneous photographs from c.1950. Also includes May Day Program from 1952 "Sleeping Beauty," and May Queen 1952 newspaper clipping. The scrapbooks were scanned (see online images) and the originals returned to Mrs. Swidinski.
