Lorene Bryant Epps Papers
Lorene Bryant Epps is an author who is also the sister of guitarist Jimmy Bryant . This collection includes autographed copies of her books: Trip to Mexico, Our Book of Life, and To Bare My Soul. Also included is an autographed copy of Jimmy Bryant: Fastest Guitar in the Country, the manuscript and several pamphlets and postcards mentioning Jimmy Bryant
Louis Schmier Papers
Louis Schmier was a professor of history at Valdosta State University for 45 years. He retired in 2013 and donated a large collection of materials to the VSU Archives and Special Collections. This is comprised of novels about World War II, Journal articles about World War I, and sources about German history relating to World War II. In addition there are costumes he used when teaching and posters from the VSC "Week of Seminars" events in the 1970's.

This collection contains maps of various types and places. Many concern Georgia and display such things as : Colleges and Universities, Highways, Companies, Railroads, Postal Routes. It also contains maps of specific places in Georgia: Valdosta, Lowdnes County, Originial Irwin County, Moody Air Force Base, Atlanta. Also included are Geological maps and surveys of various states, and two maps of the moon.

Mark Martin Collection
This collection was found in a wall when a construction worker was tearing some down. He donated the materials to Valdosta State University's Archives. The collection contains African American Newspapers from the 1950s and 60s. Included in these papers are the Newark, NJ Telegram and The Pittsburg Courier: Georgia Edition and one copy of the Georgia-Florida Times. The majority of items come from the late 50s (1958).
Mark Stevens Memorial Blood Drive
The Mark Stevens Memorial Blood Drive began in 1975 as a tribute to Mark Stevens a Valdosta State College student and native Valdostian who was killed in a gun accident in October 1975. The collection contains information concerning the history of the blood drive, organizational information and participants. The date spans from 1975-1988.
