The Castle Rising Newsletter began shortly after Jo and James Dixon moved from Dallas, Texas to Aurora, Colorado. It began as a irregular publication associated with the Castle Rising metaphysical store. The store would move to the neighboring Dallas, Texas locating in the downtown area around September 24, 1978.
