The collection consists of correspondence between Medora Field Perkerson and members of the Wymodausis Club, Mrs. R.J. McClenny and Mrs. Walter Williams. The handwritten journals of Willie Pearl Davis, a member of Wymodausis in the clubs early years, are also included. A typed transcript of the handwritten journals is included. Yvonne Slate- George Washington Woolwork

Scope and Contents
A damaged large framed Woolwork of the Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington was gifted to Valdosta State University and Special Collections. After several years, chemisty student Ann K Williams and Deborah Davis did conservation work on the Woolwork. The mold stains were removed and the portrait reframed. It is now hanging in the stairwell of Ashley Hall.
